HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR EXTENSIONS
1. Detangle first. Brush gently from ends → mid → roots
2. Use lukewarm water. Avoid hot water which strips moisture.
3. Shampoo gently. Apply a small amount of sulfate-free shampoo such as our Clarifying shampoo to the scalp (for attached extensions) or to the hair length (for clip-ins/halos). Massage lightly do not rub harshly or twist.
4. Rinse thoroughly. Let water run down the hair length; keep extension attachments steady.
5. Condition mid-length to ends. Use a silicone-free conditioner (Restore Conditioner). Leave on 2–5 minutes, then rinse.
6. Pat dry with a towel no rubbing. Use a microfibre towel or old T-shirt.
7. Air dry when possible. If blow-drying, use a low heat setting and a nozzle dry from roots downward and finish with a cool blast.
Use heat protectant before any hot tools.
Keep styling temperature moderate (under ~350°F / 175°C) for Remy human hair.Use lightweight styling products. Avoid heavy waxy or alcohol-heavy formulas that can dry hair or loosen bonds.
Avoid using heat near the bonds or tape.
Braid or wrap hair in a loose braid or low bun.
Sleep on a satin/silk pillowcase or use a silk bonnet.
Avoid tying tightly at the attachment area.
For chlorinated or saltwater: wet hair first with fresh water and apply a leave-in conditioner or silicone protectant; wear a swim cap when possible. Rinse and wash promptly after swimming.
Saunas and heavy sweat: rinse and wash sooner; avoid prolonged direct heat on bonds.
Do: brush gently, use sulfate-free & silicone-aware products, protect from heat, store properly, see a pro for color/repairs.
Don’t: sleep with wet hair, use heavy oils near bonds, bleach extensions at home, tug at tangles.
