That's why Tony Odisho Extensions offers personalized training and certification at our state-of-the-art training institute in Chicago and at periodic regional seminars. Our complete educational series provides a hands-on training curriculum for professionals at every level. In fact, we offer the only live model training in the industry. All students in the class create a full hair extensions application and style from start to finish on their own live model.Taught by a master.
Our training program is supervised by Tony Odisho, a master stylist, nationally known educator, and successful salon owner. He has been instrumental in the growth of the US hair extensions industry, having first worked with extensions in Europe during the 1990's. Odisho trained at the Marelena Institute in Rome, Italy and has offered specialized instruction on extensions since 2000 in many settings across the country. Professionals and students alike have benefited from his expertise and now you can too.The right course for you.
We offer frequent classes, open to both licensed stylists and students currently enrolled in the study of cosmetology. Tony Odisho Extensions is also accredited by the state of Illinois to offer Continuing Education Unit (CEU) hours towards cosmetology license maintenance requirements.Introductory Course - 1 hour
This brief class gives you an opportunity to see our patented keratin bond application technology in action, and learn to evaluate the four key components necessary for a high-quality hair extensions product.
Basic Certification - 5 hours
This course includes everything you need to start doing extensions from the latest equipment to hair extensions for your model and personal attention from our expert trainers. The comprehensive training course begins with an industry overview followed by instruction on installation and removal techniques. Stylists then perform a client consultation with their model before beginning the installation process. Trainers guide each stylist through placement, blending, cutting, and styling to complete the look. The course concludes with a discussion on pricing, marketing and promotional ideas. You leave the course not only with the equipment you need to begin your extensions business, but also with the confidence from having received expert training. Our user-friendly pricing is designed to allow you to recoup your initial investment after only one or two clients.
Advanced Course - 5 hours
A great refresher class for professionals who want to enhance their technique. It's designed to help those who want to increase their application speed, explore more challenging hair conditions, learn a new machine or simply receive advanced personal coaching from our instructors.
